Color

When someone asks me what my favorite color is, I always have to think a moment before answering because I love them all. Sometimes my favorite will be a plum or deep teal, sometimes a pale yellow or bold red, it is always changing. I love color especially when they are all together. I have always been attracted to rainbows since I was very young, who wouldn't be right? I used to chase them to find what was at the end of a rainbow. Colorful abstracts catch my eye and my heart every time. I used an old canvas that I started an abstract piece of work on about 2 years ago. It was ok but I was never very proud of it. It was just a bunch of colors thrown carelessly together, mixing and becoming to brownish. So I used bright water colors to spice it up. Here is a peak at my latest work, everyday it becomes more colorful and bright. I only wish I thought to take a picture of the canvas before I added to it, but that is how I am as an artist. I get an idea and jump on it...sometimes to quickly. So here is a nice half way point..
