Snowshoeing Adventure in Alpine

The first full day we were in Alpine, we went snowshoeing. It was my first time doing it and I loved it! It was like using a step machine but you actually move and have a great view. It is a fantastic leg work out! Once I live out here, I can picture myself doing this a few times a week, have to bring the bear spray though! The Snake River is just a 5 minute walk from our place.

I stumbled across some kind of dead carcass, not sure what it was but it was a reminder to me that there is a lot out here! And a lot of danger so carrying protection is the norm.
