The days of "wondering" are over.
Facebook and Myspace and Twitter!! Lions and Tigers and Bears!! OH MY! With all the social networking sites out there, to bring you and old friends back together, has taken the, "I wonder what she's up to these days", to I know every aspect of your life and your Boss's middle name. Now you can see what your friends are doing, hour by hour or if you are lucky, minute by minute. But I don't really care that you are going to the doctor at 1:30 and getting your cats teeth whitened at 3. What happened to wondering? Now you don't need to. For those of you who do post every thought, idea or chore on your FB status...give it a rest. Think about it, who really wants to know what you had to eat for dinner in detail? Who really reads that? So why post it? I don't want to hear about your ingrown toenail. I wouldn't mind hearing a funny quote you saw or a new song that you just love. I recently had to ask a friend not to give all 360 people I am friends with a play by play of our girls night out involving a pole. My Mom is on Facebook now so I really don't need her to know that I had 4 glasses of wine and a shot the night before. I hate to say it but people judge. I have opinions now about people I know on FB because of their status updates. To me they are sharing to much info, bragging or they bored with their life. Hey, I'm not hating here... I am simply expressing my annoyance with Status update abusers. Yeah I know, freedom of speech and blah blah blah. I'm sorry about your UTI but somethings are meant to keep to yourself.
